  • Autumn Fair

    Thu 29 Sep 2016

    Thank you to everyone who attended the Autumn Fair. It was great to see so many of you enjoying the stalls, refreshments, the slide and donkey rides. We raised £603.14 for our school fund.

    On behalf of Baretrees Primary School, we would like to thank the pupils, staff, parents and friends for their time, donations and support.

  • Big Splash!

    A big thank you and well done to our Year 4 and Year 5 pupils for raising £70 for Kingfisher School's Hydrotherapy Pool Fund during the "Big Splash!"

  • Eid Closure

    Bare Trees Primary School celebrates the religious festivals of all its children including Eid-ul-Fitr. In accordance with advice received from Oldham Council and the other local organisations, it has been agreed that, in a change from the original holiday pattern, school will now close for one day only on Tuesday 5th July for religious observance.

     

    School will re-open on 6th July and celebrate Eid with a range of activities including a special non uniform day, free of charge, to enable children to wear appropriate Eid clothes to school if they wish to do so.

     

    Finally, on behalf of the school, we would like to wish you and your family a peaceful and blessed month and a very happy Eid-ul-Fitr.

    Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!

  • Bare Trees Street Party

    On Friday 10th June there will be a day of celebrations in school to mark the Queen's 90th birthday. Bare Trees will be hosting its version of a street party with traditional games and refreshments.
    Pupils are welcome to come to school wearing red, white and blue for a donation of £1.

  • Reception Meeting - Phonics and Reading

    Fri 27 May 2016
    The Reception Team would like to invite you to a meeting about Phonics and Reading on Friday 27th May at 9.00 am.
     
    During this session the Reception teachers will explain the ‘Oxford Reading Tree’ system and how you can support your child with this at home. There will also be information on how you can support your child with their phonics development.
     
    We hope to see lots of you there.










  • Chit Chat Tuesday

    As Chit Chat Tuesdays were so successful in the Autumn Term, we are pleased to announce we will be holding Chit Chat Tuesdays again in the Infant Hall from 8.45am until 9.20am on Tuesday 10th May, Tuesday 17th May and Tuesday 24th May 2016. We hope to see you there. Thank you for your continued support.
