Reception enjoyed reading the poem The Hope-o-potamus for World Book Day. We discussed why it was important to be hopeful and never give up. We decided that we would write our own hopes and dreams down. First, we discussed what hopes and dreams are. Then, we spoke about our own hopes and dreams as a class. Finally, we wrote these down on a leaf to display in our classrooms and share with our friends.
