Further information about Bramhall Hall
Bramall Hall is a Tudor Manor House with origins dating back to the Middle Ages.
One of the most beautiful treasures of England, Bramhall Hall is of great national importance. The magnificent 16th Century wall paintings, striking Elizabethan plaster ceiling, the Victorian Kitchens and Servants’ Quarters give this Hall its unique charm.
The Hall offers unique insights into the families and servants who lived and worked here. It stands in about 70 acres of parkland designed in the Victorian Romantic style.
Year Five's visit to Bramhall Hall links to our current topic, in which we are learning about Tudor England. Visiting the hall will reveal more to pupils about lifestyles of Tudor people, and offer them the opportunity to see how things in our local area have evolved over the centuries.
