As part of our Peace Day celebrations, we learned about a religious leader called Desmond Tutu. His protests helped to bring an end to South Africa’s apartheid laws and in 1984 he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his work.

Desmond Tutu believes that people are ‘made for goodness’ and that together we can bring about peace – it’s in our hands.
