Task Four
Non-Core
30 Minutes
What to do:
Remember as many objects as you can.
Activity:
Remember the objects on the table.
How to do it:
Use a tray or table top and place a selection of objects on it. Look at it for a few minutes. Cover with a towel/piece of material/scarf. Without looking again at the objects, the children must remember as much as they can. Adult to write what the child remembers so they can check at the end.
If your child finds that tricky:
Only use a small number of objects to begin with 2 or 3. Say each object together before they objects are covered up.
Challenge:
Give only a short amount of time to look at the objects. Can you beat the number of objects you remember each time?
