Jasper sent a letter to Reception asking them to write some instruction for him. We are going to write instruction on how to plant a seed in order to help Jasper plant some sunflowers.  First, we recognised the features of an instruction, we discussed what equipment we should include in our instructions. Next, we discussed the order our instruction should go in and what bossy verbs we could use.  Finally, we wrote a set of instructions on how to plant a seed for Jasper and followed our own instructions to help us plant sunflower seeds in our outdoor garden.
