Remembrance Day
The children completed lots of activities to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1. There were lots of discussions on how the soldiers fought for our country and sadly how many lost their lives. We talked about how the soldiers were very brave. We had a whole school assembly where we learnt about World War 1 and we took part in a 2 minutes silence to remember the soldiers. Throughout the Remembrance themed day we also painted poppy's on stones using acrylic paint.
Our School Council represented Bare Trees by taking a poppy wreath to a ceremony in Chadderton on Sunday 11th November.
