Harvest
During the first half of the autumn term we thought about Harvest and as is tradition at Bare Trees Primary School, we asked your support in helping disadvantaged children and families affected by poverty in the local area. We asked that each child brought into school a contribution of food to help us to do this. All of the following contributions were gratefully excepted: tea and coffee; tins of vegetables, meat, fish and soup; packets of rice; pasta and cereals; jars of jam and sauces; puddings and chocolate. School collected items until Wednesday 19th October when our Harvest Celebration Assembly took place. The food collected went to the Chadderton Community Church and was then distributed to local families in need.
Thank you and remember your contribution made a difference to someone less fortunate.
