Week 1:

We have come back to school ready for learning. We have had so much fun!

We have took part in our English hook lesson where we planted some seeds. We wonder what they will grow into?

Week 2:

This week we have been looking at the characters in our English text: The Little Red Hen.

We have been learning all about writing the CVC words, listening to all the sounds we can hear.

Can you have a go at writing; cat, dog, pig, and hen?

Week 3:

The children were investigating the change in weather, they collected sticks for the arms, a carrot for the nose and worked a team to build the snowman. 

Week 4:

The children this week explored capacity. They were investigating full, half full and empty. 

Week 5: 

This week we had a special visit from some owls! The children learnt some interesting facts about owls.

Week 6: 

This week the children worked together to create a fact file about a pig. We have been thinking about animals that live on a farm and what sounds they may make, what they look like, where they live and what food they may eat.
