During Autumn 1, we learned all about different forces. We explored how forces are part of our everyday lives with gravity, air resistance and friction. 

Our investigations included planning and conducting comparative fair tests, including:

- testing a range of parachutes to investigate air resistance

- designing and making different boats to test water resistance

- pulling shoes across a range of surfaces using a newton meter to investigate friction

- investigating the use of levers, pulleys and gears.
