Activity: Read the story Tin Cat and complete the activities

Click on the blue arrows to turn the pages of the book. Ask your child to read the story.

Read the story a second time this time as you read, click the pencil icon on page 4. Complete the activity. Continue to read, click the pencil icon on page 5, complete the activity. Continue to read, click the pencil icon on page 8, complete the activity. Continue to read, click the pencil icon on page 11. 

Use the pictures on page 12 to read tell the story

 

If you find it tricky:  Ask your child to talk about the pictures. Read the story together

• What can you see?
• What do you think Ant is going to make?
• What would you make?
• Use the pictures on page 12 to retell the story.
