In English this week the children have taken their innovation of the story 'The Magic Porridge Pot' and invented their own story. They really enjoyed publishing their final pieces and have used a wide range of features from their opening and endings toolkit. Here are some examples of the children's published work:
In Maths this week Year 1 have enjoyed solving addition and subtraction facts by using number bond knowledge, knowledge of doubles and counting.
The children have also been using related facts to solve missing number problems.
