Welcome to Year six

The staff in Year 6 are:

Miss Hymas, Miss Cooke, Miss Grattidge, Mrs E. Ali, Mrs R. Ali, Miss Nahar, Mrs Yasmin, Mrs Aziz and Mr Jokhi.

P.E.

PE will take place every Friday. Please come dressed in your P.E. kit and pumps or trainers.

Reading

Please make sure your child has their reading book and reading record in school every day, as reading days can vary from week to week.  It is suggested that children read everyday - this can be their school reading book or any book of their choice. Please record any comments in your child's reading record.

Homework

This will be set on a weekly basis. 

Maths and English: Children will be given Maths and English homework on a Thursday to be completed and handed in by the following Monday.

Spellings: Children will be given spellings homework on a Friday to be completed, practised and handed in by the following Friday.

Children should also be reading at home and practising their times tables on Times Tables Rock Stars.
