Activity: Today in our farm fact file we are going to write about the Farmer. 

How to do it:  Look at the photographs of the different farmers.  What do farmers need to wear? Discuss what different jobs farmers have to do.  In your blue book or on a clean piece of paper draw a picture of a farmer. 

What are they doing? Write a sentence about what a farmer has to do.  Remember to use a capital letter, fingers spaces and a full stop in your sentence. 

If you find it tricky:  Look at the photographs of the different farmers.  Talk about the photographs. What are the farmers wearing? Why do they have to wear wellies? What jobs do farmers do? Ask your child to draw a farmer. 

Label the farmer together. 

Challenge:  Complete the fact file page about a farmer.  Then write several sentences about a farmer.  Add a describing word to your sentences.
