Activity: Can you write some short sentences about yesterday's picture using your phonic knowledge and the sounds we have learnt?  

How to do it: Mrs Boswell has written the start of the sentence … 'I can see a' you can then finish the sentence with the animals you can see. Write 5 sentences using this sentence starter in your blue book. 

If you find it tricky: Adults can support helping the children sound out the words for what they can see. 

Challenge: To make your sentences better try and add a describing word for example I can see a yellow duck.
