Welcome to the start of the week. Today you are going to start reading a new story called ‘Sky Scraping Sunflowers’. When Lilly comes out of her badger meeting, she is feeling sad. What can her brother do to cheer her up? After reading the story there are some questions to answer to check you have understood what you have read and then some questions where you must choose the correct missing words and joining words.

Cut out the shapes and fold the shapes to create 4 equal parts. When you have folded the shapes into 4 equal parts shade in one quarter of the shape. If you are struggling to fold the shape into 4 equal parts or struggling to find a quarter of the shape, watch the video below to help you.
