What to do: 

To create the beginning of a story

Activity:

Complete the Purplemash 2do to create a beginning of a story.

How to do it: 

Discuss together what their story could be about. The children must draw a picture for the beginning of the story then write a caption. Look at Miss Carling’s example:

If your child finds that tricky:

You support your child to write the sentence to go with the image they created.

Challenge:

Complete the entire book, beginning, middle and end. 

Remember to save your stories so your teacher can see.
