Week 4

This week, we have finished learning about our story Owl Babies. We have been making owl baby puppets and really enjoyed learning about them. Next week, we have real life owls coming to visit. In our Life Skills lesson this week, we have been decorating the tree ready for the Christmas festivities to begin.

Week 5

This week, we have had some very exciting visitors! The owls came to visit us on Wednesday and we really enjoyed watching them fly. We have now started our brand new topic of Christmas and enjoying the festivities. We are learning the Nativity Story through the song 'The First Christmas Day' from the play Whoopsy Daisy Angel.

Week 1

This half term, we are learning the story 'Owl Babies' with Sarah, Percy and Bill. So far this week, we have created our very own owls using different materials including paint, paper and tissue paper. We have also made cakes this week to explore our day and night topic in the afternoons. It has been lots of fun!

Week 2

This week, we have continued learning all about Owl Babies. We have started learning actions to the story with the use of a story map and this has been lots of fun! On Friday, we learnt all about Children in Need and all came in dressed as Pudsey Bear!

Week 3

This week we are continuing our story of the Owl Babies, but we are also exploring The Magic Porridge Pot. We will be mixing together some magic potions with our porridge and seeing what happens next! We also learnt all about brushing teeth in our Life Skills lesson.
