What to do: Answer questions about the story. 

 

Activity:

Discuss the story from yesterday’s storytime ‘The Enormous Potato’ and answer questions about the story. 

 

How to do it: 

Ask your child these questions:

Where is the story set?

What happened at the beginning of the story?

Who are the main characters in the story?

What happened at the end of the story?

What would you eat with the potato?

 

If your child finds that tricky:

Find the page or pages (by pausing the video) that answers the question and answer the question with your child. 

 

Challenge:

What vegetable would you grow?

How would your story end?
