I am Special!
My Favourite Things.
In Nursery we practised talking in long sentence about our favourite things. During circle time we took it in turns to talk about our favourite foods, colours, toys and TV programmes. We enjoyed choosing our favourite toys to play with in Nursery and made spinning pictures using our favourite colours.
My family.
In Nursery we were thinking all about our family, we brought in photos to share with our friends. Then we carefully drew pictures of our family and counted how many people lived in our house. Using 2D shapes we made our houses and looked at what shapes we needed to make the roof, windows and door. We also looked at who was the biggest and smallest person in our family.
My Name is.....
In Nursery we were thinking all about our names and the names of all our friends in Nursery. During circle time we practised saying 'my name is...' so that we can tell our new friends. We have done lots of exciting activities looking at our names, we used stickers to trace our name, filled the first letter of our name with pom pom's and made sparkly sensory name cards to go on our Nursery display.
My first day in Nursery
The children have been coming into Nursery and gaining confidence when exploring their new environment. They are starting to settle in and are co-operating with the rules and routines in Nursery. They have enjoyed exploring the toys available in Nursery and have loved playing in our outdoor area.
