This week we are going to be thinking about nursery rhymes.

 

Some of the nursery rhymes you may have heard of, some maybe new to you. 

 

Our 1st nursery rhyme is 'Incy Wincy Spider'.

 

Task 1: 

Listen to the nursery rhyme, do you know it?

Can you join in and sing along?

Task 2: What did you see?

 

• What creature was Incy Wincy?
• What colour is he?
• Where did he go?
• What did the rain do?
• What made the rain disappear?
• How did Incy Wincy feel at the end?

Task 3:

 

Can you make your own Incy Wincy using objects and materials that are around your house? 

 

Can you sing the song and copy the rhyme with your own Incy Wincy?

 

Challenge:

 

There are lots of real Incy Wincy spiders around at this time of year. Can you go on a hunt to find some, how many can you see?
