This term, we have explored making and designing different objects linked to our topic. After reading the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the children enjoyed designing a new bed for Goldilocks. They discussed what materials they believed would be best to make a strong bed and spoke about what they would need for her bed.
Following our story The Three Billy Goats Gruff, the children received a letter from the goats asking for their help to build them a new bridge to cross the river. The children enjoyed exploring what a bridge was and what different bridges looked like across the world. They then created their own bridges for the goats and thought about what shapes they should use to make the bridge.
