Green Week

Year 4 have been considering how to be greener and more environmentally friendly.

On Tuesday, we discussed inspirational people and recent news such as Greta Thunberg (a school girl from Sweden) and how we could make a difference to our local environment. Pupils thought of many ways to help our environment: including litter picking, recycling, walking to school, using public transport and not wasting food. We also made bird feeders from card, lard and high quality bird seed and hung these from trees around school to encourage a variety of birds.
