Activity: Edit Miss Carling’s sentence, how could you make it better? 

How to do it: Miss Carling has written a sentence but she knows it can be better. Could you edit it for her?

Hints: Could you describe the animal? Think about how it looks. Think about the size of the animals. Then when you have finished say the completed sentence out loud.

If you find it tricky: Adults can support by giving words to use and children decide where best to put it e.g big could describe an elephant

Challenge: Once finished write your edited sentence.
