SEND Teaching Assistant Level 2
Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEND Support)
Fixed Term from June 2026 to 31st August 2027
Grade 3 pt 6-11
30 hours per week
Term time only plus 5 days per year
The Governors of Bare Trees Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our successful school, supporting children with special educational needs.
Please note that this is a fixed term post to start as soon as possible, ending on 31st August 2027.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working with pupils who have a diagnosis of Autism
- Used a range of communication strategies, e.g. Intensive Interaction, visual timetables
- A commitment to removing barriers to learning
- An ability to inspire and develop learning
- High expectations of pupils’ achievement
- Enthusiasm and excellent team values
- A commitment to promoting the school’s ethos and values
