Week 1- Projects/Geography
In Geography, we will be learning about different types of settlements. We will: find out about the difference between villages, towns and cities; describe different types of land use; and undertake fieldwork to investigate land use in our local area. Our Spring half-term project was to get creative! The children created their very own maps. We think that they are AMAZING! Well done children (and parents)!

Week 2 Field Trip - Chadderton Settlement (Vocabulary - human features, physical features, urban, commercial, residential and recreational)
Week 4 D&T - Vegetable pasties. Year 3 enjoyed making their own pasty recipe using cutting, grating and designing skills. Please feel free to try these recipes at home. I have included the recipe and ingredients below.
