Summer 1
Week 5
We have been so proud of our Year 6 pupils this week. They have been completing their SATs tests each morning and their attitude, effort and behaviour has been exemplary. Each one of them has given 100% in every exam, despite some feelings of nerves and even some sickness. Well done Year 6 - you should be proud of yourselves!

Week 4
In computing this week, pupils have been creating picture based quizzes for younger children. Why not click on the link and try some of our games?

Week 3
In our next writing topic, pupils will be imagining that they are the Education Secretary and will need to write and deliver their manifesto to improve schools in Britain. As a 'hook' lesson, we practised delivering speeches to the class as prospective Prime Ministers, using appropriate pace, pitch, power and body language. Based on this evidence, we may have some future politicians on our hands.
Week 2
This week, Year 6 have been doing gymnastics during their PE lessons. They had lots of fun exploring the large apparatus in the hall, while working on moving as creatively as possible with balance, agility and speed.

Week 1
Year 6 had the pleasure of attending the Lowry Theatre to watch the amazing performance of 'The Boy at the Back of the Class' by Onjali Q Rauf. We had an amazing time and really enjoyed this fantastic, heart-warming and thought-provoking story.
