Week 5- This week in Reception the children have been learning about 'water pollution'. The children have been thinking really hard about how we can save the animals in the ocean and creating their own posters. 

Week 4- This week in Reception the children have been testing different objects to see if they sink or float. The children have been also thinking about which materials would be good to make a boat and which ones would not. 

Week 3- This week in Reception the children have been creating their own 'under the sea scene'. The children have been investigating different creatures that live under the sea. 

Week 2- The children in Reception this week have been focusing on the story 'Commotion in the Ocean'. Within the story there are lots of rhyming words, the children have been focusing on deciding which words rhyme and which ones do not. 

Week 1- This week in Reception the children have been focusing on the book 'The Rainbow Fish' . The children this week have been thinking about what it means to be a good friend and writing what it means to be a good friend.
