Activity: Complete the Underwater subtraction number sentences.
How to do it: Write your answer on a piece of paper or in your blue book.
Ask your child to count the sea animals or objects and show you with their fingers how many they have counted. Ask them to take away, put down that number of fingers to complete the subtraction number sentence
For example 10 - 5=
10 fingers - away 5 fingers =

Gather some objects from your house, use these to work with your children to answer these questions.

4-3=
5-4=
3-2=
Each time ask your child to count out the first number of objects and then ask your child to take away the next number of objects. Ask them to count how many they have left.
