How to do it: Say the sound n and say down Nobby and over his net. Children practise writing this sound. Fred talk these words

Spelling: The children can have a go at writing the words. Say the word nut.  Ask how many sounds in that word, hold up your fred fingers. Say the word nut and pinch the sounds on your fingers. Children have a go at writing that word down. Repeat process for words with n in.
