In Nursery we have been having a look at the sounds we have learnt so far in Phonics. We have practised writing the sounds and using the rhyme to remember how to form the letters correctly. Maybe you could practise them at home with your child.
Jaspers Beanstalk
The children loved reading the story of Jaspers Beanstalk. They used the story to think about how to plant a seed, the children then followed the instructions in the story to plant their own seeds. We enjoyed lots of activities making patterns with seeds and beans, counting beans and ordering numbers on a beanstalk.
