Activity: focus sound today is f

How to do it: Say the sound f and say down the stem and draw the leaves. Children practise writing this sound. Fred talk these words

Videos are only available for a few days so make sure you watch them daily. 

Spelling: The children can have a go at writing the words. Say the word fin.  Ask how many sounds in that word, hold up your fred fingers. Say the word fin and pinch the sounds on your fingers. Children have a go at writing that word down. Repeat process for words with f in.

If you find it tricky: 

Model the writing process first.

 

Challenge: 

Spell words like fell, soft, fast, fact.

Choose one of the words to write your own sentence.
