Children In Need
To raise money for the charity Children in Need we were allowed to wear spotty clothes on Friday 18th November. Everyone who chose to wear spotty clothes brought in a donation of 50p or a shop bought cake to sell at our cake sale. The Reception pupils who got creative with their spotty clothes won a prize which was a mini Pudsey Bear.
Another fundraising idea was ‘Guess the Dogs Name’. There was a dog teddy bear up for grabs and we had to guess the teddy bears name to win. To be in with a shot of winning the dog we had to bring in 20p. A lucky girl from Year 1 chose the correct name which was Reggie.
Finally, at the end of our busy day fundraising, all pupils, staff and parents were invited to come along to the bake sale after school. We contributed to the bake sale in class by making a variety of cakes like Cornflake cakes, Gingerbread Pudsey Bears and a Rocky Road tray bake.
Overall we raised an amazing £550 for Children in Need!
