Can you recognise and find half of a shape?

 

Task:

Using some paper from you home learning kit.

1. Draw out the following shapes: Square, Rectangle, Circle, Diamond, Triangle. 

2. Cut out the shapes.

3. Fold them in half.

4. Colour in half of each shape.

 

Challenge:

Write the name of each shape on the shape. 

Can you think of another 2D shape you can half?

 

You can stick half of each shape into your workbook!
