Welcome to Reception!

 

The children are learning Phonics using the Read Write Inc scheme. Workshops are taking place throughout the school year to support parents at home. Please look out for posters and fliers.

 

The children also have a reading wallet which they bring home each week. Please make time to share the book with your child over the weekend. Don't worry if they cant read the words, talk about the pictures and share the story together. Please make a comment in your child's reading record each week.

 

The teachers are available to talk to parents each morning before registration time. If you need to speak to someone, please feel free to call in during that time.
