In the first half of the Autumn term, Year 6 attended the Castleshaw Centre. The children enjoyed the orienteering activities where they worked in groups, following a map to find the clues.
Pupils then took turns to scale the climbing wall. Each child wore a secure harness and safety helmet. Pupils worked in small groups, guided by instructors, as the climber ascended the wall.
Everyone was extremely encouraging to others and all pupils challenged themselves to take risks and learn new skills.
We all had such a fun day and worked well in our teams!
