What would the chimpanzees munch?

Who was the King of the Jungle?

Who was elephing around?

Who likes to mooch in the mud?

Whose growl makes you tremble with fear?

Writing

Challenge 1: Word work

Write down your favourite 5 words from Rumble in the Jungle. Put them in alphabetical order.

Explain why you like each word.

I like the word elephing even though it isn’t a real word because it helps me imagine a big elephant walking slowly around the jungle.

Challenge 2: Sentence work

Describe some of these animals that you might find in a jungle.

Try to use expanded noun phrases.

Challenge 3: Write a short story based on an animal from the jungle.

Remember to use:

  • capital letters and full stops
  • commas in a list
