Activity: To edit my story.

 

How to do it: The best writers also reread their story and edit it to make it even better. Read through your story. Could you make your writing even more exciting? E.g one of my sentences was Carrie found the apple. I am going to change it to: Carrie finally found the shiny red apple. 

 

If you find it tricky: Rehearse the sentences orally and ask your grown-up to help you edit the sentences. 

 

Challenge: Illustrate your finished book. Don’t forget to make a front cover and give your story a title.
