This half term, we have been exploring the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. We spent time reading and remembering the story so that we could join in with our teachers reading it to us. We have enjoyed trying the food from the story, role playing, sequencing and even watching the story! We even made our very own 'Hungry Caterpillars' and created beautiful butterflies in our creative lessons. 

We have really enjoyed learning about The Human Body this half term! We took part in brushing our teeth, investigating the human skeleton and learning the skeleton dance to keep our bodies healthy!

Christmas Fun!

We have enjoyed all of the Christmas activities in Butternut this half term. We spent time making food for reindeers within the provision using porridge oats and carrots, creating our own snowman and spreading the Christmas cheer with our Christmas cards and party. We had lots of fun!
