Discuss how we are all different and we celebrate different things. 

 

Activity:

Watch the videos which show you how Toby celebrates Easter. Easter is a festival celebrated by Christians. Easter Sunday is the 12th of April this year. 

 

How to do it:

Watch the videos.  Ask your child these questions.  Who celebrates Easter?

Where do Christians go to celebrate Easter? What kinds of activities do Christians do at Easter?

If your child finds that tricky:

Watch the video again and find the answers with your child. 

 

Challenge:

Discuss with your child what festivals you celebrate with your family. Talk about how they are similar and how they are different.  Do you go to a special place at your festival? Where do you go? Do you eat special food and do special activities? What are they?
