Activity:

Decide on the idea you are going to make later in the week. (think about a project that you could make with objects from home)

How to do it:

Look at your ideas from yesterday. Which one would you like to make? We need to plan our project by writing the materials we are going to need and equipment. Make a list of the materials you are going to need and the equipment. Is there anything else around the house you could recycle to make your project? See my example.

If you find it tricky:

Children must write down the initial sound if they find writing a word tricky. The adult can write the rest of the word or complete the word together by saying each sound using Fred fingers. 

Challenge:

Be specific with your materials. How many do you need? What colour? Make your list as detailed as possible. Write a sentence.. I will need a...and ….
