Autumn 2
This week we were fortunate to have a visit from a top athlete, who has represented Great Britain playing tennis at the Paralympic Games. He worked us extremely hard and hopefully we raised lots of money for school and charity.
Year 4 are continuing on our exciting journey to learn to play the clarinet. We can now play several different notes and know when to play and when to pause by following a musical score.
In our RE lessons this week we have been learning about 'The Last Supper.' We produced some wonderful work.
Our Science unit this half term is 'Sound.' We have been learning about how sound waves travel by making our own telephones from plastic cups and string.
Welcome back to school Year 4!
We have had an interesting English lesson on our first day back at school. We are reading a finding tale named 'Adventure at Sandy Cove' and we went on our own scavenger hunt. We solved the clues and we found treasure!
