Children in Need 2016
In order to raise money for the charity Children in Need the school council came up with various ideas of how to raise money. Initially they chose to hold a non-uniform day where pupils were invited to wear spotty clothes. Each pupil who chose to wear spotty clothes brought in a donation of 50p or a shop bought cake to sell at our cake sale. The pupils who got creative with their spotty clothes won a prize which was a mini Pudsey Bear.
Another fundraising idea was ‘Guess the Dogs Name’. There were 2 dog teddy bears up for grabs and infant and junior pupils had to guess the teddy bears name to win. To be in with a shot of winning the dog the pupils had to bring in 20p.

Finally, at the end of a busy day fundraising, all pupils, staff and parents were invited to come along to the bake sale after school. Pupils throughout the school contributed to the bake sale in class by making a variety of cakes like Rice Krispie cakes, Gingerbread Pudsey Bears and a Rocky Road tray bake. Parents, pupils and staff enjoyed the cake sale and the pupils were excited to take their cakes home.

Overall we raised an amazing £550 for Children in Need.
