Week 6:

This week the children in Reception used junkmodelling to create their very own classroom dinosaur!

Week 5:

This week we have been looking at our emotions in Reception. We have been discussing and completing focused activities based on our emotions and how we can manage them.

Week 4:

This week the children experience going to a Chadderton Community Church, they learnt about why a church may be a safe place for Christians.

Week 3:

This week we have been exploring different dinosaurs and had the opportunity to create our very own dinosaur by collaging. We wrote words to describe how our dinosaur looks.

Week 2:

In Reception we have been reading the story We're Going on a Bear Hunt. This week we went on our very own bear hunt and enjoyed a hot chocolate afterwards. 

Week 1:

This week the children were exploring playing the role of characters out of the story Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs. The children were also practising being part of an audience and giving positive feedback to their peers.
