Autumn 2

Week 7 -

As the year comes to a close, it is time to bid farewell to our wonderful families and children. This week children have enjoyed and engaged in lots of Christmas activities as we come to the end of another wonderful year. We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and support throughout these past months. We look forward to welcoming all our pupils back for a fresh start and a successful new year. We wish you a restful, safe, and joyful holiday break. See you in 2026!

Week 6 -

Pupils have been exploring and deepening their understanding about blogging in their computing lessons. Blogging falls under the computing discipline of Information Technology. They couldn't wait to create their own blogging page, here are a couple.

Week 5 -

The Boys' Years 5 & 6 football team are now leading the way in the PSFL Championship! With three comfortable wins out of three in our last outing. Next set of matches will bein the New Year in January.

Week 4 -

In Science we have been conducting our own investigations. This week we looked at our circuit diagrams and produced our own fair test. We tested bulbs, buzzers, motors all whilst adjusting the voltage within the circuit.

Week 3 -

Our topic in History is 'The Victorians'. This week, pupils explored the main change in transport and whether everyone benefitted from it. They wrote a paragraph selecting what, in their opinion, were the most important arguments for and against the railway and gave reasons why using their historical knowledge.

Week 2 -

In Spanish, Year 6 are developing a bank of vocabulary and descriptive phrases to describe their school day.

Week 1 -

In Art, this term, Year 6 will be practising the skills needed to create monoprints using gel printing plates. We will also have the opportunity to look at artwork by William Morris - a British designer, poet, artist and writer who lived during the Victorian era - link to this half term’s history topic. William Morris used woodblock printing to create intricate printed designs.
