Week 1

In Year 1, we have been exploring a wide range of instructional texts and had a go at text mapping the instructional text 'How To Make a Bee Bath'.

Week 2

This week in History, the children have been exploring the three female monarchs of Britain and talked about why they are the most remembered in history.

Week 3

This week in Design and Technology, the children explored a range of fruit, testing and tasting what they would like to include in their own recipe. 

Week 4

This week in History, the children discussed how different life was in Britain under the rule of Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Victoria.
