This week the whole school has taken part in our culture fest. Year 4 visited other classes in school to find out about festivals and celebrations from around the world and then hosted some classes to tell them about Pesach (Passover) We all had a great time!

This week we have been making our moving vehicles in DT. We spent lots of careful time designing our chassis and then had lots of fun making our final piece. We added a motor to our cars and we even managed to get some of them to move!

This week Year 4 have been looking at how rivers are used. To start the lesson we mind mapped what we thought rivers were used for as table groups.

This week Year 4 have been designing the outer shell of their cars. They used purple mash 2-design and created a net which they added colour and design to before printing and then making them into a 3-D model. 

This week Year 4 have been debating in PSHE. We spoke about what a debate is before deciding on a topic. The topic chosen was to decide whether we should have longer or shorter days at school. Everyone had a great a reason for and against.
