  • HAF (Holiday Activities & Food) Summer Programme 2022

    Thu 21 Jul 2022

The FANTASTIC activities will start as soon as schools finish for the summer school holiday break mid-July 2022.

HAF is free for children and young people aged 5 to 16 years who are eligible for the free school meal benefit (FSM).  Those who are not eligible for the FSM benefit may still be able to participate at a small cost.  We advise parents to talk to the organisations and book their children on the activities as soon as possible.

  • Bounce Forward: Anxiety and Resilience for Parents

    Wed 01 Dec 2021

    A three-session on-line course for parents

Children and young people will feel anxious and worried from time to time. Anxiety is a normal or usual response to uncertainty. The way we respond as parents, and deal with our own anxiety plays a significant part in building our children’s capacity to develop resilience.

Over the last 18 months Covid has certainly generated lots of uncertainty and changed the way we go about our everyday lives. You may be feeling more worried than usual as you think about the impact on you and your family. Perhaps you are in the midst of a growing cycle of worry and concern that you’d like to unravel. You are not on your own.

  • Anti-Bullying Week 2021

    Wed 17 Nov 2021

This year, we are holding Odd Socks Day. It’s a chance for Primary schools to celebrate Anti-Bullying Week in a positive way. Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity for children to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique.

As a school, we will be participating in a range of activities throughout the week, in line with the Anti-Bullying Week theme of One Kind Word.
