During the first half of the Spring term our topic in Year 1 was all about the Titanic. We learnt about the Titanic throughout all of our subjects. In English we wrote a newspaper article, created a menu for the people on the ship, wrote a post card and a letter to our loved ones. We looked at what time the ship set sail and what time it sank in Mathematics. The children enjoyed learning about where the ship set sail from and where it was built during Geography and we created a Titanic timeline in History. In Science we looked at senses, body parts and what we could see/ smell on the ship. During Art the children created rooms from First Class and Third Class. We have really enjoyed this topic and hope you enjoy viewing all of our pictures. We had so much fun!
