Linking Project

St Paul's visit at Bare Trees Primary School

Year 3 pupils from St Paul's Primary School visited Bare Trees Primary School for a 'Sports Day' on Thursday 15th June 2017. Pupils participated in a range of activities: sack race, javelin, football, wake and shake, mindfulness and a range of other games. All the pupils had lots of fun and enjoyed spending time with their friends from St Paul's Primary School.

Pupils from Year 3 met with pupils from St Paul's and Greenacres Primary Schools on the Monday 6th February 2017 and Thursday 9th February 2017 at Oldham Coliseum. The day was called 'Reasons to be cheerful' and the children participated in a drama workshop based on 'Sleeping Beauty' where they explored things that happen backstage and had the chance to act out a part of the play. Pictures of the event are displayed above.

Castleshaw

Pupils from Year 3 met with pupils from St Paul's and Greenacres Primary Schools on the 22nd and 23rd September at Castleshaw Centre. This developed their links with other schools, developed their social skills and new friendships. They had the opportunity to take part in team building exercises, physical activities and orienteering. They had a great time and look forward to meeting again in the second half of the autumn term.
